I found a dump of every single 10.8 stock icon, which is here: LiteIcon: - Lets you change the application and system icons easily. It's a pain but it's better than a restore.ĬDock: - Lets you theme the dock to whatever you want. Then you can just drag them in via liteIcon. Also, if you change your icons and want to go back, you'll find the original icons for your applications in /Contents/Resources. It's just an extra layer of security, but as long as you're not an idiot and don't download shady programs you'll be fine. Don't listen to the people who tell you SIP is important because it's really not. Note: To do all of this, you have to disable SIP.
